Queen Elizabeth II releases her own sparkling wine to celebrate Platinum Jubilee

Earlier this month, the Queen marked the 70th year of her reign, making her Britain’s longest reigning monarch.

The Queen’s coronation took place in June 1953 at Sandringham House, a year after her father King George VI’s passing.

To celebrate this important milestone, the Queen will be releasing her very own bottle of bubbly, Buckingham Palace English Sparkling Wine, which comes from the Royal Collection Trust, a charitable department of the Royal Household that is “responsible for the care of the Royal Collection and manages the public opening of the official residences of the Queen”.

According to Food & Wine, the sparkling wine is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes which are grown in Kent and West Sussex.

An announcement from the Royal Collection Trust describes the wine to have “enticing aromas of rich and honeyed citrus fruit, white peach and hints of sweet spice”.

Kate Middleton’s clever trick for when women hit on Prince William

Being married to a handsome prince can’t be easy, especially a prince who was born and raised by the late Princess Diana herself.

The two have always been couple goals, since they started dating back in varsity, to being a family of five and having three beautiful children.

Before the public was fully aware of their relationship, however, according to Cosmopolitan, many other women had an interest in the young prince, but Kate had a way to let them all know that he was not available.

The Mirror reported that Lara Warshauer, a close friend of Kate’s, revealed to Katie Nicholl, the author of the book Kate: Future Queen, an incident between Kate and William that took place at a party which saved the young prince from a woman he had no interest in.

“Will was getting really hit on by this girl at a party and it was getting quite uncomfortable because he couldn’t shake her off. He was being really polite, but this girl just didn’t get the hint.

“All of a sudden, Kate came up behind him and put her arms around him. He said, ‘Oh, sorry, but I’ve got a girlfriend’ and he and Kate went off giggling,” said Warshauer.

Duchess Camilla tests positive for Covid-19

The Duchess of Cornwall has been diagnosed with the Covid-19 virus, days after her husband Prince Charles was diagnosed with the virus for the second time.

Prince Charles was forced into isolation last week after testing positive, and Clarence House expressed regret on how his results meant that he would not be able to attend an engagement in Winchester.

Camilla is also self-isolating, and will be taking the necessary health precautions to ensure that she does not spread the virus to others.
