22 years later, David and Victoria Beckham are still wearing matching outfits

Possibly the first-ever “couple goals”, David and Victoria Beckham are proving their longevity in sharing everything – literally.

Victoria was once a pop star with the Spice Girls and is now a successful fashion designer. She recently admitted that she admires her husband’s taste in clothes and always wanted to steal his style.

She told British Vogue magazine: “David always dresses. He always makes an effort. When we’re on holiday in Europe, he has a very pulled-together look and I want to wear those pieces as well. It’s a shared suitcase.”

Victoria says her recent spring and summer collection is inspired by David’s style. Loose oversized shirts, loose-fitting pants and a beautiful belt.

“You wanna [sic] be that person,” she says.

“A masculine silhouette is part of our DNA. There was quite an electric mix of well-dressed men that came to mind.,” she said whilst showcasing her collection recently at London Fashion Week.

Victoria says her latest collection is an ode to a European summer, “sunlit mornings, long languid afternoons spent behind closed doors. The gentleman abroad…”

“Soft, summer tailoring is simple at first glance, with hidden complexities; textured linens, pockets and pleats.

“Inspired by a holiday state of mind, a sense of detachment from the real world, and the ease that comes with that feeling. A shared suitcase, a swimsuit under a borrowed shirt,” as described on her website.

The couple recently celebrated their 22-year anniversary and David joked that they still wear matching outfits.

“22 years later, still matching outfits. Happy anniversary love [you] so much and thank you for giving me our amazing kids so we can all wear the same.”
