NFT Sales Reach $256M, with Hypurrr at the Forefront

NFT sales have surged dramatically, increasing by 103.11% to a total of $256.9 million. This signifies a strong rebound from last week’s sales of $84.6 million.

Data from CryptoSlam reveals:

  • The count of NFT buyers has risen by 18.25%, reaching 694,348.
  • The total number of sellers climbed by 17.77% to 584,235.
  • There was an 8.67% decrease in NFT transactions, bringing the total to 1,874,619.

The rise in Bitcoin’s (BTC) price to $122,000 has revitalized the overall crypto market, with Ethereum (ETH) also gaining ground to $4,500.

The global market capitalization of cryptocurrencies has now reached $4.2 trillion, up from $3.78 trillion last week. This bullish attitude is positively impacting the NFT market, which has shown notable gains.

Hypurrr Dominates NFT Collections

The Hypurrr collection emerged as the week’s leader, generating $88.77 million in sales across 850 transactions.

This collection attracted 406 buyers and 645 sellers, claiming four out of the top five individual NFT sales positions.

Moonbirds secured second place with $18.72 million in sales, reflecting a staggering 254.57% increase. The Ethereum-based collection saw 1,319 transactions, with participation from 398 buyers and 424 sellers.

CryptoPunks took third place, achieving $17.33 million in sales, showcasing a remarkable 468.88% rise. This collection completed 26 transactions, with 20 buyers and 19 sellers involved.

DX Terminal on the Base blockchain landed in fourth with $8.67 million in sales, showing a slight 0.73% increase. The collection facilitated 367,697 transactions and attracted 113,948 buyers.

DMarket rounded out the top five with $7.95 million in sales on the Mythos blockchain, signaling a 34.95% gain from the previous week.

Ethereum Leads Blockchain Rankings

Ethereum held on to its title as the foremost blockchain for NFT sales, reporting a volume of $97.4 million, a remarkable 124.35% increase from last week’s $28.3 million.

During the period, the network processed wash trading worth $20.84 million, resulting in a total of $118.24 million, with 104,625 buyers—a 3.55% increase.

HyperEVM claimed second place with $88.77 million in sales, largely driven by the Hypurrr collection’s performance; however, it reported zero buyers during the tracked timeframe.

The Mythos Chain secured third with $13.07 million in sales, reflecting a 17.69% rise from the prior week’s $10.9 million, attracting 45,713 buyers—a 20.71% increase.

Bitcoin occupied fourth place with $10.97 million, a 36.20% decline from last week’s $14.12 million, with 23,635 buyers, marking a 23.07% growth.

Base fell to fifth place with $10.92 million, down by 19.71% from the previous week, despite having 284,780 buyers—a 24.15% increase.

Solana (SOL) secured seventh position with $7.74 million, marking a 56.23% increase from last week’s $16.1 million and recording 56,811 buyers, an 18.33% growth.

Top Individual Sales

CryptoPunks #1563 topped individual sales at $12.05 million (2745 ETH), sold just two days ago.

Additionally, four Hypurrr NFTs were sold:

  • Hypurrr #3926 sold for $7.86 million
  • Hypurrr #175 sold for $7.82 million
  • Hypurrr #1131 sold for $7.63 million
  • Hypurrr #3460 sold for $6.46 million

All four Hypurrr sales occurred five days ago.
