• Avoid using hoses or sprinklers for garden irrigation between 06:00 and 18:00.

• Refrain from washing cars using hosepipes.

• Do not fill swimming pools. Instead, continue using grey water for garden irrigation and toilet flushing.

Water-saving devices are recommended where practical.

Residents should integrate these water conservation tips into their everyday routines:

• Install low-flow showerheads and tap aerators whenever possible. • Use dual-flush toilets.

• Choose indigenous or drought-resistant plants for landscaping.

• Clean driveways or patios with a broom instead of a hosepipe.

• Collect rainwater for reusing in gardens or vehicle washing.

• Cover swimming pools to reduce water evaporation.

• Take shorter showers instead of baths.

• Turn off taps while brushing teeth or shaving.

• Regularly inspect for leaks in taps and toilets.
